Extensify On Twitter: Extensify Helper For Mac
One of the best things about having a jailbroken iOS device is the ability to add tweaks and add-ons to the operating system. Adding new features, improving the overall user experience and even modifying iOS altogether can be done rather easily. However, the latest iOS 8.4.1 officially closed the bug that was used to enable jailbreaking.

IOS 9, on the other hand, will make jailbreaking your iPhone that much more difficult. So how can we continue to add tweaks in the future? Extensify is here with an answer. What is Extensify? Extensify is basically a tweak store for non-jailbroken iPhones and iOS devices. The app can be downloaded and installed just like any other iOS app.
Once installed, you will have access to hundreds of tweaks and add-ons that will help improve your iOS user experience. Developers Majd Alfhaily and Kevin Ko described Extensify as a tweak store that allows you to modify and add new features to App Store apps without needing to jailbreak. It is not designed to replace Cydia. The app uses Exos, smaller packages that are designed to provide added functionalities to App Store apps. Exos are applied directly to the apps before they are rebuilt and installed. The whole process is automated and requires no PC or Mac whatsoever.
Every time an update for the app is released, the selected Exos are added automatically as well. Extensify will not automatically delete the unmodified apps. Instead, it adds a ‘+’ sign to all modified apps. This means you can keep both stock and modified apps on your iOS devices, running both of them at the same time. For certain apps such as Instagram, you can even run two accounts on the same iOS devices without having to re-login every time.
Limitations Naturally, there are limitations to this type of tweaks. For starters, Extensify can only modify App Store apps. It cannot make changes to Springboard or the iOS cores in general, unlike Cydia. This is because the app does not require root access to function or add tweaks. Even the developers behind Extensify confirmed that the app is not meant to replace Cydia. It is designed to compliment as well as provide tweaks to those running non-jailbroken iPhones and other iOS devices.

What kind of tweaks are available? Keep in mind that Extensify is yet to be available at the moment. Only a handful of people get the chance to test this new app on their iOS devices, but the reports have been very promising so far. Exos – or tweaks – that you can expect from Extensify ranges from new features to interface changes. The Vine Exos, for instance, allows users to save Vines as well as perform other tasks that the official Vine app doesn’t allow you to do. The same goes for Instagram; you can save photos, make links on the Comments section clickable and many more.
