And my favorite one, the Logitech webcam. Both the driver and software didn't install stating that there was an error installing Windows Installer 3.1.

Why they tried to install it is beyond me, as it's already present on the computer. My guess is, the not-too-well written Logitech/Dell software checked for Windows Installer 3.1, saw a newer build than what it had, couldn't recognize it for the newer build it was, and tried to install its own. Has anyone had this problem and found a way around it?
